About the School

St. Joseph's Higher Secondary School, with a rich tradition spanning over 165 years, stands as a beacon of education in the heart of Trivandrum city. St. Joseph's is not a mere artistically structured group of building but a mother to many, who has nourished thousands of its children providing them wisdom, life skills and universal perspective.

Renowned for its academic excellence, St. Joseph's HSS is a top performer in public examinations. The school is managed by the Latin Archdiocese of Trivandrum, which ensures a holistic and value-based education for its students. Being the light that effaces the darkness of ignorance and the ever extended hand that bolsters up the weak ones, the school faculty always adheres to the motto of the school "Lux et Caritas" (Light and Charity).

St. Joseph's family has always been a replica of India that holds upright the ideology of Unity in Diversity. Students from different strata of the society come here to be merged into a single entity without any class or caste distinction.
